When I got a real estate license a few years later, I expected to specialize in finding properties that would fill the growing interest in various kinds of retreats: health, personal, corporate and spiritual.

Initially, county planners found the concept appealing but reconsidered the idea after the explosion of conventional tourism. Consequently, I specialized in finding personal retreats that offer privacy, food security, and off-grid energy.
